Why not try a private or semi private riding lesson from just £10.
Learn to canter and we will take you out on one of our many Hacks.
We can take you on a 1 hour hack through the historic and beautiful Buck Wood, a 1 1/2 hour hack to Wrose Brow or for the more competent rider a 2 hour fast hack through Calverley Woods.

OWN A PONY DAY AT BIRKHILL FARM
EVERY THURSDAY From 29th July to 2nd September 10am till 2pm
At a loss how to occupy the kids during the long summer hollidays, why not do something a bit different….....own a pony for a day!!!
Everyone at Birkhill Farm knows that kids can get a bit bored and restless durind the long summer holidays, so why not keep them entertained and active by spending a fun day with ponies here at Birkhill.
During the day they can get a taste of what is involved in owning a pony; everything from, grooming to tacking up a pony, to of course the riding. Take a look at the agenda for the day:
10.00 - 11.00: Grooming Competition
Tack - Up a Pony
11.00 - 12.00: Riding Lesson
12.00 - 12.30: Lunch (please bring a packed lunch)
12.30: Tack - Up a Pony
13.00 - 14.00: Pony Games (Gymkhana)
14.00 - 14.30: Award Ceremony – Prizes and Certificates

LEAD REIN PONY AFTERNOON
EVERY TUESDAY From 27th July to 31st August 12 till 2pm
At a loss what do do with the kids during the long summer holidays, why not try something a bit different, let them join in the fun at the lead rein afternoon at Birkhill Farm!
Everyone at Birkhill Farm knows that it's dificult to know what to do with the kids during the long summer holidays, so why not keep them entertained and active by spending a fun afternoon with ponies here at Birkhill.
During the afternoon they will be fully supervised at all times and will play fun games which will teach them all about looking after ponies and will also be able to have a ride. Take a look at the agenda for the afternoon:
